Demographics

-I researched demographics for the well-known wealthier areas like Ponte Vedra, Fruit Cove and Fleming Island. These areas are mostly populated by married white men and women, without children, ages 40-65+ years. Some residents do have children, but those without dominate the areas.Educational levels vary from bachelor’s to master’s to doctoral degrees. The residents bring in an income of $50,000 to $200,000. The Eagle Harbor area of Fleming Island is home to many Jaguars players who make $500,000+.The majority of these residents are middle-age and older upper class in the zip codes of 32259, 32082 and 32003.

Psychographics

-Now the people who reside in these areas are older white people who are considered to be “boomers.” So, these residents are mostly older and conservative.These people tend to stay loyal to brands that they have been using for a long time and know work well for them. They also frequent the same shops, restaurants, etc that they always have because they are tried and true. These are more expensive places and things though because of the wealthy demographic.Aside from the few younger residents, these people are old fashioned and harder to persuade with newer products or ideas.

Informational Networks

-The primary source of information for this demographic is local TV news stations like News4Jax and other TV news stations like Fox News, specifically for this group of people. A secondary source of information would be smart phones and other smart devices.
